About this development
Development of the Dwaalkop Platinum Mine near Lebowakgomo in Limpopo. In order for this project to be viable, associated activities will be undertaken on the existing Baobab Shaft to the west and the proposed Doornvlei Mine to the east. Doornvlei Mine, situated immediately east of Dwaalkop, will only have four sets of ventilation shafts consisting of one upcast and one downcast ventilation shaft at each position. Two decline shafts that will access the ore body on Doornvlei will be situated on the eastern side of Dwaalkop Mine.
