About this development
Construction of the 400 kv Diphororo Substation situated behind Soshanguvhe Crossing Cemetery, along Ruth First Road, Soshanguve, Gauteng. Approximately R100 Million or higher. The scope of works includes bulk earthworks, roads, fencing, foundations, building and civil works. Diphororo Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Eskom Holdings SOC. The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/132kV and the operating voltage level is 400/132kV. The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 132kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 500MVA. The GPS is : 25°33'29.9"S 28°06'13.3"E
