About this development
Development of a decline shaft from an existing opencast pit; temporary offices, a temporary silo for the storage of approximately 6 000 tons of ore at a time within the pit, and three ventilation boreholes. The proposed site is located on Portion 2 of the Farm Middelkraal 466 IQ. The project area falls within the Bojanala District Municipality and Madibeng Local Municipality. The site is situated to the north of the N4 national road, between Rustenburg and Pretoria.
