About this development
Construction of the residential phase 8 for the De Hoop Development, which is proposed on Remainder of Portion 1 of Farm De Hoop No 838 and Farm Titus Kloof No 893, Paarl, in the Western Cape. These units are to be consolidated and then subdivided. The proposed development comprises the subdivision of the Consolidated Land Units into two portions viz. Portion A (±283ha) and Remainder (±320ha) respectively. The proposed Portion A which is heavily invaded by alien plant species will be used for the proposed development, while the larger cultivated Remainder will remain as primary agricultural land. The intention is to subdivide Portion A further into four portions viz. Portion B, Portion C, Portion D and Portion E respectively which collectively represents the entire De Hoop Community Lifestyle Estate. The proposed development, which will be developed over a period of approximate 10 - 15 years and comprises of a mixed use combination of business / commercial activities, Institutional (school) and a variety of residential opportunities. A combined GLA of 32 000m² is proposed which will be developed on three different portions and in three different phases with the proposed school to be included in the proposed phase 1 of the development.
