Project overview
About this development
Development of an diamond mine with washing plants to mine alluvial gravels at Daniel to be known as the DAP. BHP Billiton has advised Tawana that the DAP has been shown by Tawana to contain a very large tonnage of diamond-bearing gravels with the extent and potential to be of economic interest to BHP Billiton and thus BHP Billiton has elected to participate in further evaluation of the DAP. If the DAP is shown to be an economic alluvial diamond deposit the experience and capability of BHP Billiton, the world's largest natural resources company, can be employed to bring into production what is believed to have the potential to be the largest alluvial diamond mine in the world.
