About this development
The proposed construction of a new abstraction point on the Hoekraal River, a pump station, an off channel dam on the Swart River, in the Western Cape, and the required pipeline to transfer water from the abstraction point to the new dam (approximately 1,7 Km in length) as well as a pipeline to transfer water from the new dam to the existing Karatara pump station in the vicinity of the existing water treatment works (approximately 3,4 km in length).
