About this development
Construction and maintenance of a cofferdam and river centre shaft in Vant's Drift Water Treatment Works, in the Nquthu Local Municipality which falls within the boundaries of uMzinyathi District Municipality, Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal. The scope of works includes the construction and maintenance of a 28m diameter cofferdam which shall protrude a minimum of 3m above the river bed, construction of a reinforced concrete river centre shaft with a diameter of 4m and a depth of about 15m of which 3m shall protrude above the river bed, excavation of sand and bedrock, construction of a filter which shall extend to a diameter of about 22m, and associated ancillary work. CIDB 8: R 40 Million - R 130 Million.
