About this development
Proposed upgrade of CJ Langenhoven Road Corridor, Phase 2 and Phase 3, George, in the Western Cape. The upgrade will include the provision of non-motorized vehicle and pedestrian paths. Phase 3 will occupy an area of approximately 6200sqm and will extend from the vicinity of Myrtle Road up to past Heather Road. It involves: The upgrade of CJ Langenhoven Road to have two lanes per direction with no centre island; The widening of the existing culvert across Witfontein Spruit in a northern direction to accommodate the proposed road widening; and Provision of non-motorized vehicle and pedestrian paths. A cantilever wooden walkway with a handrail will be constructed for pedestrian movement while the existing gravel walkway will be paved and used as a cycle path.
