About this development
Construction of a new 1.7km long, 8.5m wide arterial road with 2 lanes from Gulden Gracht to Krugerrand Grove Road, between Rupee Rif road and Bullion Boulevard, in the Richards Bay CBD, which is situated within Ward 2 of the uMhlathuze Local Municipality and in the King Cetshwayo District Municipality of KwaZulu-Natal. This link road is the first phase of the development of the Central Industrial Area (CIA) between Alton North and the CBD. The scope of works also includes but is not limited to the construction of a new concrete box culvert and the installation of street lights and water and sewage reticulation along the new road.
