About this development
The project involves drilling three exploratory holes in Rumphi district close to Chiweta Trading Centre, about 2 to 3km upstream of the North Rumphi Bridge and M1 road in Malawi to prove the existence of a geothermal system of commercial interest and define its thermal dynamic and chemical features, before developing the site into a 10MW to 15MW generation plant.
