About this development
Construction and development of Castle 2 wind energy facility and associated infrastructure on the Remaining Extent of Portion 0 of Farm 8 Knapdaar which is 28km north-east of De Aar and 22km south-west of Philipstown, Northern Cape. The scope of works includes but is not limited to: Five wind turbines, turbine foundations, five crane hardstand areas, underground cabling between turbines along the road verge, temporary laydown areas, internal access roads (approximately 7m wide) linking turbines and other infrastructure on the site. The GPS coordinates have been placed at Farm 8 Knapdaar 30°39'14.5"S 24°22'30.2"E
