About this development
Construction, operation and maintenance of a photovoltaic power plant on the Remainder (845 ha) and Portion 65 (924 ha) of the Farm Tweefontein 462 KR, located in the Bela-Bela Local Municipality, Waterberg District Municipality, Limpopo Province. The developed area required for the project will be up to 480 hectares. The photovoltaic power plant will have a maximum export capacity up to 240MW and will consist of the installation of photovoltaic modules, mounting systems for the PV arrays, battery energy storage system, workshops & warehouses and access roads and internal roads. It is intended to participate proposed solar park in Round 7 of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme. The GPS marker has been placed in the area of construction 24°51'50.9"S 28°24'47.2"E
