Calders Hotel and Conference Centre

Conversion, upgrade and refurbishment of the Calders Kings building, in Fish Hoek, in the Western Cape. The project will entail converting the building into a high quality 26-suite luxury hotel and conference centre. Utilising the existing sound structure of the well known building it is to acquired a modern appearance following a comprehensive refurbishment programme to be completed over a two year period. Apart from substantially improving the exterior of the building, the Zevenwacht team will also incorporate the latest conference technology in the building. All suites will be equipped with high speed internet access, DSTV and other features to meet the needs of conference delegates. An interior feature will include a central core under a domed sklylight, opening on to the stairway. The existing lift will be restored to its period piece. Parking outside will accommodate 22 cars under surveillance cameras, boosting Fish Hoek’s own new security camera system.
