The Cabinda phosphate project incorporates a 2000km² exploration permit covering all the known phosphate occurrences in the Cabinda province in Angola. The project contains one development project, Cacata and four advanced exploration projects - Mongo, Tando, Cibuete, Ueca and Chivovo. A scoping study on the project has concluded that by using the truck and shovel approach, the high-grade portion of the Cacata orebody could be mined at 1.2 million tonne-a-year, run-of-mine.
