Bushenyi-Sheema Water Supply and Sanitation Project, Phase 1

Construction of the Bushenyi-Sheema Water Supply and Sanitation Project - Phase 1, which will consist of construction of the following works which are located in and around Sheema and Bushenyi Districts in the western region of Uganda: (a) Construction of a new water treatment plant with a capacity of 3,000 m3 / day, including the construction of an intake and the installation of all the associated electro-mechanical equipment (b) Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of 17 000m of treated water pumping mains of DN 300 mm (c) Supply, laying and commissioning of water supply of gravity main pipelines of DN 200 mm, approximately 5 800 m long (d) Construction of a 1 600 m³ ground concrete reservoir and a booster station (e) Construction of a 90m³ ground steel reservoir and (f) Electro-mechanical improvements to the existing water treatment plant at Nyaruzinga in Bushenyi District.
