Construction of a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system with dedicated bus lanes, elevated stations, depots, and supporting infrastructure on along priority corridors including Waiyaki Way (Line 1), Thika Superhighway (Line 2), Airport Road (Line 4), and Outering Road (Line 5) in Nairobi, Kenya. Project cost exceeds KSh 100 billion. Scope of works could include: Development of isolated bus lanes and median stations along 137 km of corridors, procurement and deployment of up to 950 high-capacity electric buses. Construction of 10 stations per line with accessible platforms, intelligent transport systems and interchanges. Upgraded footbridges, traffic signals, and non-motorized transport paths. Establishment of depots, feeder services and park-and-ride facilities. Facilities will be integrated into the commuter rail and the Nairobi Railway City project.
