About this development
Construction of the retail component for the Boschendal Village, which will consist of approximately 440 residential units, small artisan and deli shops, a farmers market, other specialty shops, a commercial and office development, a tourism related development including tourism accommodation. The development will include a 14 500m² Gross Leasable Area mixed use development which will include shops, restaurants, places of entertainment, offices and other related businesses. A hotel or guest accommodation of approximately 100 rooms is also proposed. The site is located in the Dwars River Valley, Portion 7 and 10 of Farm 1674, Boschendal between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, in the Western Cape. The valley lies between the Simonsberg and the Groot Drakenstein Mountains and can be reached by the R310 leading from Stellenbosch over the Helshoogte Pass.
