About this development
Construction of 125 dwellings for affordable and sustainable retirement purposes, at Blue Ridge Guest Farm located on Portion 7 of Roy Point Farm No 2959-Hs, on the N11 Ladysmith Road, about 2kms out of Newcastle in KwaZulu-Natal. The existing lodge buildings are to be converted and revamped to a frail care centre with 40 beds. The proposed retirement village is to consist of single storey buildings with low pitched roof profiles. On the periphery of the site, along the N11 and to the south, double story, semi-detached dwellings are proposed. Each dwelling will have at least a carport, and options for buildings with single and double garages will be available. Each dwelling will have a small court yard.
