About this development
Construction of a 100MW photovoltaic solar energy facility to be known as Bloemsmond Solar 3 which will be developed on two farm portions, portions 5 and 14 on the farm Bloemsmond 455, Upington in the Northern Cape province. It is proposed to build three facilities and the net generating capacity of each proposed PV solar energy facility will be up to 100MW. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the marker has been placed on farm Bloemsmond 455, 28°33'19.9"S 21°01'25.7"E.
