About this development
Construction of a Ferrochrome (FeCr) smelting facility for the Beneficiation Company of Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd (Benficosa). The smelter will be located on the farm Elandsfontein 440 JG, approximately 5km east of Brits in the North West Province. The project will involve the design, construction and operation of a 20MW DC (direct current) Ferrochrome smelting furnace and associated infrastructure.
