About this development
Development of the Dwaalkop Platinum Mine near Lebowakgomo in Limpopo. In order for this project to be viable, associated activities will be undertaken on the existing Baobab Shaft to the west and the proposed Doornvlei Mine to the east. The associated activities on Baobab Shaft will consist of an upgrade to the existing concentrator as well as the construction of an additional 240 ktpm concentrator. An extension to the existing tailing dam is proposed to accommodate the tailings from the upgraded and new concentrators.
