About this development
Establishment of the Avondale Solar Park, a renewable energy generation facility. The project will consist of construction, operation and maintenance of a Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant with associated infrastructure and structures having a generating capacity up to 75MW. The project site is on Portion 1 of the Farm Avondale No 410, Gordonia, in the Upington area, in the Northern Cape. Access to the site will be from the N14 national road, which runs on the southern boundary of the property. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the marker has been placed on farm Avondale: 28°18'35.0"S 21°35'18.3"E
