About this development
This project is for the upgrading to bitumen Arusha-Kibanga-Kongwa Road (493 km in length) in northern Tanzania. The project road starts at Kon ya Mbauda Junction in Arusha region and traverses through Losinyai, Simaniro, Kibaya, Dosidosi, Songambele, Hogoro Junction and ends at Kongwa Junction in Dodoma region. The existing road is composed of 5km at bitumen standard and the rest 488km is of earth/gravel standards.
