About this development
Upgrade project of the Arlington Sawmill which is located on lot 4093, Arlington Farm Road, in the Natal Midlands, Lions River/Nothingham Road area in KwaZulu-Natal. The sawmill facility will be improved and upgraded to cater for greater timber productions from the Arlington Farm and surrounds. The facility will be fenced and lit for security purposes. It will consist of a depot area, a storage area, a large agricultural shed housing the sawmill machinery, and a smokeless burner for the purposes of wood drying and sawdust disposal. Sawdust generated by the operations will be used to fuel the burner (800kg/hr), which will in turn be used for the purposes of drying the timber.
