About this development
The project is envisaged as a four-stage development of an integrated ammonia-urea fertiliser plant on an undeveloped site in Parcel F of the designated Free Trade Zone at Mandji Island in Gabon. The four stages will include: Phase 1 - site clearance and temporary access road construction; Phase 2 - dredging and backfilling; Phase 3 - plant design, construction and commissioning and Phase 4 - the construction of water pipelines. Estimated project value : $1.5 billion to $2 billion.
