About this development
The ammonia and urea fertiliser plant will be constructed in Soyo, Zaire Province about 300km north of Luanda. The planned daily production capacity is 2 000t of ammonia and 1 750t of urea. The plant will effectively use excess natural gas supplied to a liquefied natural gas plant under construction in Soyo. The cost of the project is estimated at more than 100 billion Angolan Kwanza.
