About this development
Development of restaurants, takeaway franchises, caravan sites, lodge accommodation and venues for weddings and other functions, as part of the proposed Amazon Alley Water Park, also known as Project Engedi. The site, positioned 150m from the Indian Ocean, is located on the Remainder of the Farm Ocean View no. 6234 and Portion 6 of the Farm Abrams Crest no. 14380. The farms are situated in the Kelso area in KwaZulu-Natal, to the north of the Happy Wanderers Holiday Resort, and extend from the coast to a small area west of the R102 provincial main road. The more seaward part of the site is bisected by the Transnet South Coast railway line. The water park will include 23 family slides, tube slides and wave rides. The development will also include a children's play park, an animal farm and canopy tours. A parking lot to accommodate approximately 500 cars will also be developed.
