About this development
Development of a mine for the mining of alluvial diamonds through the open cast mining method, the processing of the mineral by use of DMS pans on the farm Lanyonvale Nr. 376, Northern Cape Province. This operation is situated approximately 37.9 km east of Niekerkshoop, 85.6 km southwest of Douglas and 77.2 km northeast of Prieska on the Niekerkshoop gravel road. The proposed mining area is over the remaining extent of portion 10 (Elsies Drift) of the farm Lanyonvale Nr. 376, in the district of Hay. The total extent of the mining area is 2244.4523 hectares. Mining will take place over the whole of this portion.
