About this development
Construction of an airport mall on a prime land of an extent of approximately 14 hectares (33.6 Arpents), located along the last segment of the future airport access road next to the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius. The proposed site, in annex, is strategically positioned and is easily accessible. The Airport Mall must serve passengers and their well-wishers and welcomers, airport staff, the surrounding community and the public at large. The objective is to implement a vibrant mix of traditional and modern shops, retail outlets and other convenience facilities, including food and beverage outlets. Scope of works: The airport mall may consist of the the following, amongst others: a) A mix of modern and traditional shops; b) Retail outlets; c) Convenience outlets such as Hairdresser, Gymnasium and Leisure, Beauty Parlour and Spa, dry cleaning, supermarket, etc.; d) Food and beverage court; e) Entertainment area for visitors; f) A car park facility and car wash/valeting area; g) Shuttle/taxi service to and from airport terminal and the proposed shopping mall.
