The project involves the construction of a new shopping centre with open parking. The centre, to be known as Airport Junction Shopping Centre, is to have a metal roof, tiled floor and will be approximately 38 000m² in size. The site is located next to the A1 main road. The A1 is the most prominent road in Gaborone and serves as the main through-route. This road is highly frequented, especially during peak hours. The site is strategically located to intercept support, especially from the upper income suburb of Phakalane. Estimated project cost R428 million.
