Refurbishment and upgrades of the 3KV DC traction substation for work package 2 situated in the Gauteng North Region. The scope of work for the project entails the procurement, delivery to site & off-loading, installation and commissioning of the new 3kV DC traction substation equipment and 11kV distribution substation. To replace foundations, structures and some steelworks. The following substations that are included are as follows, Kruis Traction Substation, Poort Traction Substation, Sjambok Traction Substation, Rosslyn Traction Substation and Wintersnest Tie Station.
