About this development
Construction of the Djermaya solar project near N'Djamena, Chad. The plant will be located 30 km from the capital N’Djamena. The plant will produce 60MW with 200 000 solar panels over an area of 100 hectares. A 4MWh battery storage system will be built to stabilise the grid after sunset. A transmission line, a substation and other facilities necessary to connect and integrate the project into the national grid. A 33kV dual circuit overhead transmission line with a length of 18km and two 33/90kV transformers at the Lamadji substation will be built. The project value is €18 million.
