About this development
Construction of a 24MW solar photovoltaic power plant located on a 52 hectare site in Ombachi village, Uleppi Subcounty, West Nile Sub Region around 450km from Kampala, Uganda. The works are a part of the Governments PPP project to construct 4 renewable energy plants in West Nile Region. Scope of works could include, 1 x 24MVA 3/132kV transformer substation/switchyard. Power will be excavated through the newly constructed Linu-Gulu-Arua 132kV transmission line.
