The Government of Uganda has received financing from the World Bank toward the Agriculture Cluster Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consulting Services. The Consulting Services (‘the Services) include Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of: Lot 1 Lumbuye Irrigation Scheme in Iganga District and Bukagolo Irrigation Scheme in Bugiri District. Consultants should clearly indicate the assignment (lot) they are interested in and their order of preference. The consultants expressing interest in more than one Lot shall demonstrate capacity in terms of experience and skills to handle simultaneously the lots for which EOI has been submitted. EOIs for partial lots shall not be accepted. The overall objective of the assignment is to undertake Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the development of Irrigation Schemes and associated infrastructure and facilities. The implementation period for the services is Six (6) Calendar Months. The Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries now invites eligible consultancy firms to indicate their interest in providing the Services.
