Project: Akatsi- Dzodze-Akanu Trunk Road Project - Rehabilitation of Akatsi- Dzodze Section. The Government of Ghana has received a loan from the African Development Fund in the amount of UA 12.72 million toward the cost of the Akatsi- Dzodze-Akanu Trunk Road Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds loan to eligible payments under the contracts for the rehabilitation works of Lot 1: Akatsi- Dzodze Section (25 km). The Ministry of Transportation, acting through the Ghana Highway Authority, invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the following: Lot 1: Rehabilitation of Akatsi- Dzodze Section, 25 km. Project Location: Akatsi - Dzodze Road, Volta Region, Ghana. The approximate quantities of the principal components of the works are: Earthworks: 700,000 m3; Gravel sub-base: 360,000 m3; Crushed rock base: 345,000 m3; DBST: 182,500 m2; Cross drainage: 690 m culverts; Road Markings: 18,580 m. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible member countries as defined in the AfDB’s Rules of Procedure for the Procurement of Goods and Works. The instructions to bidders and general conditions of contract contained in the bidding documents comply with the African Development Bank’s Standard Bidding Documents for the Procurement of Works.
