The University of Zimbabwe wishes to engage the services of a Consulting Firm or a Consultant for the provision of Environmental Impact Assessments for the Uni-City and
Shopping Mall. Over and above the terms of reference, the Consulting Firm or Consultant will be responsible for crafting and aligning the departmental objectives with the overall Institutional objectives. The University of Zimbabwe now invites eligible Consulting Firms ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the service. The minimum criteria for short-listing shall include, but not limited to the following: 1. The Consultancy errs or Consultant must be a registered entity and registered with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) 2. Key Professional staff qualifications and competencies for the team leader and any other consultants who will be assigned to carry out die tasks and responsibilities. The Consultant(s) minimum qualifications should be a Masters' degree in any of the following business-related fields: Geography. Civil and Water Engineering. Ecology, Environmental Studies/ Environmental Science. 3. Track record and demonstrable experience in conducting similar assignments. 4 A minimum of three (3) reference letters from traceable organizations must be submitted. 5. Experience in conducting Environment and Impact Assessments (EIAs). Consultant or consulting firm's track record and demonstrable experience or exposure Environmental lmpact Assessments (is this not a repetition of 3) The following documents should also be submitted: detailed company profile v. detailed curriculum vitaes (accompanied by certified educational certificates of mero professional staff) iii. proof of registration with PRAZ iv. company registration documents and trade reference letters. Short-listed Consultants will be invited to submit detailed technical and financial proposals, as described in Part 1 of the Request for Proposals Procedures in the Standard Request for Proposals for the Selection of Consultancy Services.
