Waterfall wins ‘Best in SA’ at International Property Awards

Waterfall Management Company and Attacq Limited were awarded three ‘Best in South Africa 2021 – 2022’ accolades for the Waterfall development at the recent Africa and Arabia chapter of the International Property Awards.



Besides ‘waterfall.co.za’ being named the ‘Best Developer Website in South Africa’, the iconic Mall of Africa in Waterfall City was awarded the ‘Best Retail Architecture in South Africa’ accolade, while the African headquarters of Deloitte, also in Waterfall City, was honoured as the ‘Best Office Development in South Africa’.



At the same time, Balwin Properties won the ‘Best Leisure Development in South Africa 2021 – 2022’ award for their Munyaka residential lifestyle development in Waterfall, designed by LYT Architects.



All four winners have been automatically entered into the overall international awards, culminating in announcements of the ‘Best in Africa’ and finally, the ‘World’s Best Winners’ at a virtual Grand Finale event in January next year.



Now in its 28th year, covering over 45 different residential and commercial categories, the International Property Awards celebrate the very best projects and professionals in the property industry across Africa, Arabia, Asia Pacific, Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, USA, and the UK.



Judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts, chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, and Lord Waverley – members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament – the Africa and Arabia Property Awards at the largest, most prestigious, and widely recognised awards programme throughout these regions. Judging focuses on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability.
