The ululating of traditional Zulu dancers made the opening of the Ballito Hills Lifestyle Centre on Saturday a vibrant affair.

Balwin chief executive officer, Steve Brookes said they had worked closely with their design team to bring something exceptional to sectional title buyers and said he believed the Ballito Hills development would set a new standard for lifestyle estate living.

The six-star green-rated Lifestyle Centre includes a state of the art gym facility with a cryotherapy treatment area, spinning bikes and squash courts.

Residents also have access to a 24-hour laundromat service, a wellness spa offering a catalogue of beauty treatments and spa packages and a car wash.

The children’s play area will keep the kids busy while meeting rooms, on-site concierge and a restaurant are available to residents.

Brookes said the Balwin group was recognised at the recent Africa and Arabia Property Awards where the group received four awards including the categories of “Apartment, For South Africa” for its Ballito Hills development.

“We believe it is our unique approach to property development, our uncompromising standards of quality and our 100% control and accountability on all aspects of our developments, from concept and construction to sales, that has earned us this reputation,” said Brookes.

He said they were focused on producing eco-friendly products and facilities in each of their developments, to inspire homeowners to reduce their carbon footprint and adopt a green lifestyle.
