The project details page displays all the relevant information relating to the project. - Also see details legend below.
The key to benefiting from the Private Projects system is having the correct person monitoring the project and interacting with the relevant persons as and when the updates on the project arrive.
Legend:
1. Project ID: - This is an unique incremental number assigned to the project by our database and should be used to track or request further information when interacting with research teams. Clicking on the Click here button adds the project to the list of monitored projects. This will ensure that all updates are sent to you automatically. 2. Project Type: - This is the classification of the project - Industrial, Multi Level, Mining, Hospitality, Health care, Retail etc. 3. Description: - This is a brief description of the project and is designed for the user to decide whether to investigate the project further. This will generally include a brief description of the project and the location of the projects. 4. Timing: - Timing gives some idea of when the project is intended to start. 5. Value: - This is a value range that is designed to give the user some idea of the scope of the project. 6. Region: - This defines the location of the project. 7. Client: - This is the registered owner or paymaster for the project. 8. Project Manager: - This is the appointed project manager or developer for the project. In the event of there being no formal project manager then the lead professional is listed here. Details include a company name, contact person and telephone number. 9. Architect: - Lead architect or specifier for the project. Details include a company name, contact person and telephone number. 10. Quantity Surveyor: - Lead quantity surveyor for the project. Details include a company name, contact person and telephone number. 11. Engineer: - Civil, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical engineer details are added as applicable. Details include a company name, contact person and telephone number. 12. Classification: - Projects is classified according to the expected tender process. This varies from open tender to invited, negotiated, or pre-qualification. 13. Last Known Status: - The project starts at the conceptual stage and progresses through legal procedures, preliminary design, detailed design and tender, award and start of the project to completion. Some projects may also be postponed or cancelled. Also see Project Status. 14. Bidders: - The bidders on the project once known are listed here. 15. Awards: - The contractor awarded the project is listed here. 16. Funding: - Funding impact on the progress or viability of the project. 17. Roofing: - Type of roofing material to be used. 18. Flooring: - Height range of the project. Designed to indicate type and nature of scaffolding and cranage required. 19. Tenant List: - Where available a tenant list for shopping centres and the like. 20. Last Updated: - Date the project details were last updated. Updates are event driven but generally no longer than every six months for projects in the formative stages. 21. Notes: - Points of interest regarding the project and how to approach clients. Contact details for sending company profiles etc are also listed here. Any specific instructions regarding potential problems with the client will be listed here as well.
